Matanzas - dangerous for gopros!

Wow - what a fun wave! Matanzas was great last night, we fully utilised Swifty's rock advice which definitely makes spotting gaps in the sets for launching so much easier! The waves were overhead and a bit in the sets and fast as usual!

I only caught a few waves before a cutback on a really heavy section led to me burying the nose and taking a big wipeout...ripping the gopro from the nose of the board right in front of the rocks!

Unfortunately the impact caused the gopro to error losing the best wave of the session's clip!! Que a few panic set waves on the head while trying to keep the gopro from coming off the retaining pad!

Off for another session now...maybe windy later...
